Manchester “City” team defeated “Brighton” 4-0 tonight in the Premier League game of England, continuing to catch the tournament's leading team “Arsenal” of London. The Londoners are currently one point behind, but City have one game in hand.

Manchester footballers took the lead in the 17th minute, when after Kyle Walker's cross, Kevin de Bruyne headed the ball into the goal in a slender jump. The Belgian midfielder scored his first Premier League goal with a header.

In the 26th minute, after Phil Foden's penalty kick, the ball ricocheted off the “wall”, changed its flight direction and hit the target – 2:0. Eight minutes later, the home team played very clumsily in the penalty area, as a result of which the ball went to Foden, and the English midfielder already had a considerable lead. In the second half, in the 62nd minute, after a moment created by Walker, Julian Alvarez made an unhindered shot and made it 4:0.

On Tuesday, London “Arsenal” defeated “Chelsea” club 5-0 at home in a duel between two teams from the capital, while on Wednesday “Liverpool” recognized the superiority of Liverpool “Everton” 0:2 in another derby at home.

In the tournament table, the leader with 77 points in 34 matches is London “Arsenal”, which is followed by Manchester “City” with 76 points in 33 matches. “Liverpool” has accumulated 74 points, Birmingham “Aston Villa” is fourth with 66 points, which is six points ahead of Tottenham “Hotspur”, who played two matches less.
